Bloom's Response to COVID-19

Dear Valued Bloom Garden Supply Customers,

During these times of growing concern surrounding the Coronavirus across our community, our hearts go out to all of those who have been impacted.   At Bloom Garden Supply the health and safety of our customers, employees, and families is our #1 priority.  Be assured that Bloom Garden Supply has taken significant steps to continue that our services remain uninterrupted while working to safeguard employees and customers during this situation.

CLEANLINESS and HYGIENE
We have added extra cleanings throughout the store and especially in high use areas.  Checkout counters, door handles, bathrooms, drink coolers, desktops, and phones are all being cleaned and sanitized hourly and after use.  We have instructed our teams to send home anyone who is not feeling well, not to come to work if not feeling well, or has family members who aren’t feeling well. We have policies in place to support our employees during illness and family emergencies. 

LIMITING EXPOSURE 
While stores remain opened and stocked, we understand you may want to limit exposure. Our team can take your order over the phone or via email. Sandy orders: (503) 200-1515, Division orders: (971) 255-1336. Emailed orders can go to division@bloomgardensupply.com for items to be picked up at the Division location, or sandy@bloomgardensupply.com for items to be picked up at the Sandy location.

SERVICE COMMITMENT
While limiting health risk,  we are not limiting our service level to you.  We will continue to partner with you to navigate your business through these challenging times. 

REMAINING VIGILANT
This virus and it’s effects requires us to evolve quickly.  We will continue to monitor all recommendations for the safest courses of action for customers and employees  from the Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and public health agencies.

Summer Vendor Party

Stop by our Division location on Saturday, August 18th for our biggest event of the year! Vendor Day 2018 will feature even more fun than last year. Chat with reps from brands you use, want to try, or have never even heard of! The full list is at the bottom of this page. We're doing major sales on your favorite products from Mills, Nectar for the Gods, Veg+Bloom, Botanicare, Vital Garden Supply, Char Coir, Fox Farm, and more! Plus, grab lunch catered by Olympia Provisions, an ice cream sandwich from Ruby Jewel, and follow it up with a beer 🌭🍺🍦 Kids and dogs are also welcome, we'll have a tie-dye station and a bounce house. KBOO radio will be doing a live taping of their Grateful Dead Hour from 12pm-2pm, and the raffle starts promptly at 3pm. Collect raffle tickets from now until the party. May Lecture Series: Dehumidifying Your Space with Quest

We're super excited to host Quest Hydro's Portland rep, Santo, on Friday, May 18th at our Division location at 1:00pm. Santo will be covering topics like why using a dehumidifier is so important in greenhouses and indoor gardens, how to choose the right size and type of dehumidifier for your space, the difference between refrigerant based and desiccant based dehu's, and of course, why you should use Quest! Don't worry, it's not a sales pitch, just a way to learn the basics from the most knowledgeable dehu guy in the biz. Bring a friend and a notepad, this is one you'll want to attend! April Lecture Series: Intro to Compost Tea

Come hang out with the Bloom crew, and Moose and Ian from Vital on Thursday, April 26th at 1pm at Division. They'll be giving an introductory course on compost tea, focusing on the benefits of compost and how to brew an effective compost tea and extract. They'll also touch on the relevance of soil microbiology in horticulture, and how as cultivators we can encourage a healthy ecosystem in our gardens. Grab a pencil and a friend, we'll see you then!

October Lecture Series: Grodan

Come out to Division on Tuesday, Oct. 17th at 1pm for a in-depth look at Stonewool cubes from Grodan and how they can turn you into a soilless growing operation. Rep Chad Guagdani will be leading the discussion and will cover a variety of topics that you can see below. He's also bringing a GroSens, which is a meter that gives you the most reliable, representative WC and EC measurements (WCM) available 24/7, in real time.

Our Summer Customer Appreciation Party will take place at Division on Saturday, August 26th! We've got over 30 vendors coming out to spend the day and give out info and samples.
